For all of the flowers I paint, it may surprise you that what you find most planted outside, and inside my home are actually leaves!  There is usually a single philodendron from my yard in the middle of my kitchen island.  My favorite color just happens to be green, and coloring the green leaves of a floral painting is usually one of my favorite parts of painting.  I dedicate this series to the leaves.  They are such great supporters of the florals and deserved a series all to themselves!  I completed this series in the spring of 2016.
